Job Description: Dubai - I am currently helping a major engineering design consultancy to recruit for a specialist Senior Doors Hardware Engineer for a High Rise residential building in Dubai, UAE. The candidate should be a graduate engineer, associated discipline (preferably with AHC accreditation). Minimum 15 to 25 years of experience in similar line. Well-versed with European as well as USA codes. Interaction with the client/contractors to study and review their doors operation and security requirements, reviewing door hardware submittals and shop drawings for the project, review Keying and Master Keying requirements etc. Main scope of the job would be writing and scheduling Door Hardware Specification for all the Doors of the project, with the majority of the doors having sophisticated safety and security functions, scheduled Hardware sets for specialty and sophisticated Architectural openings on assigned projects, hardware scheduling involved utilizing Electrified Hardware components to meet safety,... - Permanent - Full-time
