Job Position: Applications Support Administrator
Job Description: Thuraya Telecommunications - Dubai - Job Purpose Primarily responsible for computer software application development; and supporting code testing, implementation and issue resolution. Responsibilities 1. Monitor & supervise the Microsoft Dynamics GP application (Technical & Functional). 2. Plan & set any direction of any new patches or service packs available for Dynamics GP. 3. Provide training & support to end user for Dynamics GP. 4. Meet with staff on a request basis for resolving issues. 5. Administer in house applications hosted on SharePoint and coordinate with the in-house development team for second level support. 6. Administer and support the IT Service desk application. 7. Upgrade Microsoft Dynamics GP application to the latest version when available Required Skills and Experience 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and support. 2. Very good experience in Microsoft Great Plains, VBA, Dot.net platform, Crystal reports and report writer. 3. Well versed in SQL Server - ability to write comp... - Permanent - Full-time
