Job Position: Sr. Purchaser - MEP
Job Description: AMANA - Dubai - Role Objective: To process material requisitions and purchaser orders in a professional, timely and cost effective manner. To negotiate with suppliers and obtain the best conditions related to the cost, delivery time, quality and payment terms of the orders. STRATEGIC Conducts market visits and visits trade shows to increase market network and awareness. Suggests and provides data within the team for new products to be included in Amana's Product Catalog. OPERATIONAL Sends Request for Quotation (RFQ to) and collects responses from suppliers and subcontractors. Reviews and pre-approves all Local Purchase Orders. Assists team in achieving target dates of procurement activities of daily required items at site (such as concrete, substructure, rebar etc.). Receives approved Material Requisition Forms from Cost Control and ensures the required Local Purchase Orders (LPO) are prepared for approval.
