Job Description: Oman Insurance Company - Deira, Dubai - Job Title Medical Underwriter Location Deira , AE Organization Name Group Medical Department Description Brief Description Detailed Description To assess the risk prudently from all perspectives and prepare a formal risk acceptance conditions, write profitable business, negotiate if required with Point of sales, attend external and internal meetings and strive to improve underwriting process. Job Requirements Ensures thorough and deep understanding of risks related to benefits offered and its pricing impact, policies table of benefits, network, and preauthorization Ensures that all the relevant information to prepare the quote has been collected & uploaded correctly by the Associate Underwriter. Analyzes the claims and benefits from all perspectives arrive at an appropriate premium and arranges formal proposal agreeable as per OIC standard underwriting guidelines.
