Job Position: Library Assistant - Reference & Research Job Description: Abu Dhabi University - Al Ain, Abu Dhabi - The purpose of this position is to ensure of implementation of library rules and regulations in Al Ain campus and Support the Library Manager in Abu Dhabi to create process and procedures and apply them to support Information Literacy Program and Reference Services. Responsibilities Reference Services Assists with daily circulation, and reference services. Assists with shelving of books according to the Library of Congress System. Answers students’ questions and inquiries face-to face and through the ADU chat system to provide prompt support. Library Services Participate in collection development and acquisition of library materials. Administers the ADU Library Portal, adds/ deletes users, and creates group users as necessary.
