Job Position: Structural Engineer (Hotel Project) Job Description: Linum Consult - Abu Dhabi - Linum Consult's client is an international engineering consultancy currently seeking a Structural Engineer for a significant hotel construction project in Abu Dhabi. RESPONSIBILITIES Preparing reports, designs and structural drawings Calculating loads and stresses Selecting suitable construction materials; bearing in mind cost and quality Providing technical advice to CAD designers/draftsmen Liaising with Architects to achieve constructability Providing regular reports on progress to the Project Manager REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering At least 8-10 years' experience in a similar role, working for consultancies Previous history of working on high-end hotel construction projects, or complex mixed-use building projects is essential Technical knowledge of ETABS software and demonstrable knowledge of American & British codes of construction Excellent com
