Job Description: Cooper Fitch - Sharjah - Ebony Thomas One of the leading paint manufacturers in the Middle East region is seeking to fulfil a General Manager position for an engineering job in the UAE. The candidate will report directly to the MD and Board of Directors. They will be responsible for the complete management of the Group R&D laboratory(s) and ensure best practices, standardised manufacturing and QC P&Ps across 13 factories globally. Key responsibilities include: Provide overall direction and guidance for the research and development function working in conjunction with sales. Direct the research, development and maintenance of existing and new formulas of paints, coatings and resins. Ensure well-managed lab operations by directing and coordinating activities which are consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies. Develop a high performing team where communications, activities and responsibilities are shared in order to meet corporate goals.
