Job Position: Logistics Coordinator – Dubai
Job Description: Dubai - Coordinate the arrival of containers with shipping lines, terminals, port and receiving warehouses. - Coordinate and manage the process of moving containers from the terminal to warehouses ensuring that the correct container is sent to the correct warehouse. - Ensure that tasks are carried out being cost conscious. - Contribute to cost saving targets by reducing waste. - Identify opportunities to reduce expenditure and operating costs. - Build and maintain relationships with all parties involved with the delivery of containers to the warehouse. - Understand internal customer requirements. - Advise all shipping lines and the terminals, about the arrival of containers. - Coordinate with the terminal, advise them in advance of the destination of each container - Supervise the entire process to ensure that it is performed smoothly. - Allocate tasks and guide the Port Assistant regarding the movement of containers - Address any issues at the port that may delay the release or transportation... - Permanent - Full-time
