Job Position: Manager, Teacher Training (SEND)
Job Description: GEMS Education - Dubai - Job Summary This role will support the establishment and embedding of the TELLAL Institute in the provision and development of pre-service and in-service teacher training for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). To manage the following work streams: Pre-service Initial Teacher Training - to lead on the design and delivery of Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Initial Teacher Training and Apprenticeship Teacher Training Routes. In-service Teacher Training – to be the key driver in TELLAL to support the promotion and embedding of best practices at teacher, school and at whole group level. Required Skills Have specialist knowledge and understanding in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (including UAE context) Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in education including an understanding of the UAE context Have a minimum of 2 years' experience with adult training and qualifications A proven track record and successful training and teaching exp... - Permanent - Full-time
